About the event

Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN) Northern Ireland(NI) will officially launch on Thursday 25th April at Belfast Harbour Commissioners. WIN NI will seek to be an impactful network where women working in infrastructure can connect, collaborate and collectively influence NI’s Infrastructure Agenda. The network is open to professionals at all stages of their career whether just starting out or an experienced leader.

The launch will set out the aims and ambitions of WIN NI and seek input on the areas this chapter should focus on to drive the network’s impact locally.

Our panel discussion will host leaders from the Infrastructure community across the island of Ireland who will share insights on their career experiences, challenges and achievements working in a sector where traditionally women have been under-represented.

Our panelists:

• Theresa Donaldson – Chair of Belfast Harbour and Deputy Chair Eirgrid plc

• Sara Venning – CEO of Northern Ireland Water & Non-Executive Director, ESB

• Mairead Meyer – COO of National Broadband Ireland & former MD of Openreach in NI

Join us from 5pm for a welcome reception and networking with speakers, panelists and fellow WIN Ireland members.

Please register via the button. We look forward to welcoming you.

About WIN

Women's Infrastructure Network (WIN) is an inclusive global network operating in the USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. It began as an informal community in Canada in which women in the public and private infrastructure industry could meet, collaborate ideas and help shape the infrastructure agenda.

The Women’s Infrastructure Network (WIN), the Ireland Chapter, was launched on 5th September 2023. Its purpose is to increase the number of women in leadership roles, grow the visibility of women, and to provide a networking and support group for women in the infrastructure sector in Ireland.
